Questions & answers

Good questions, clear answers.

Everything families usually ask before starting. Can’t see yours? Call or message us and we’ll help.

Getting started

How does tutoring with you work?

All lessons are live, interactive and one-to-one, online. Your child works directly with a tutor on a plan built around their subject, level and exam dates, with a heavy focus on exam technique throughout.

What happens on the free assessment call?

It’s a free 20-minute assessment and onboarding call. We’ll get to know your child, talk through their goals and where they’re finding things difficult, then put together a personalised learning plan. There’s no obligation to continue.

How much does tutoring cost?

We’ll go through pricing on your free assessment call, once we know which subject, level and lesson frequency suit your child. If your child would rather learn with friends, our GCSE group tuition starts from just £10–£15 per student, per hour.

How does group tuition work?

Find 2, 3, 4 or 5 students studying the same subject, tell us your preferred day and time, and we’ll match your group with a suitable, experienced tutor. Lessons are live online, in small focused groups, with GCSE exam-focused teaching and a regular weekly slot. Still looking for others? Message us anyway. See group tuition.

How do I book?

Subjects & levels

What subjects do you teach?

Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics (including GCSE Combined and Triple Science), Computer Science, and English and languages. See the tutoring page for what we cover in each.

What age groups do you support?

We support students from Key Stage 1 all the way to A-Level. Muhammad also teaches Maths and Sciences at the equivalent international standards.

Can you really help my child reach an A or A*?

Our programme is built around the top grades. It includes a full study plan, targeted work on weak areas and a lot of exam practice. Every student starts from a different place, so on the free call we’ll give you an honest view of where your child is and what we think is achievable.

How often should my child have lessons?

It depends on their goals and how close their exams are. We’ll recommend a lesson frequency on the free call and build the study plan around it. Our programme is designed to show real progress over 12 weeks.

Tutors & safety

Who are the tutors?

Our founders, Nabeel Esat and Muhammad Ahmed, both achieved all 8s and 9s at GCSE and studied the sciences at A-Level. Meet the tutors to read their full backgrounds.

How do you choose the right tutor for my child?

We match tutors by subject, level and the student’s needs. We’ll recommend the best fit on your free call.

Are your tutors DBS checked?

Yes. All our tutors hold an enhanced DBS check and a Level 1 Safeguarding certificate.

Do you support students with SEND?

Yes. Our tutors are experienced with SEND students and adapt the pace and style of lessons to suit each learner. Let us know about your child’s needs on the free call.

How do you track progress?

We analyse your child’s answers to find mistakes, give targeted feedback, and keep reviewing their study plan against their goals. Regular exam practice shows clearly where they’re improving and what to work on next.
